The Call of the Leopard

If you ask me about my favorite colors to wear in the bedroom, you will probably end up getting a reply that basically contains the entire rainbow and its spectrum of colors.

I do like most things. Honestly, it is not so much about the actual color; it is more about the pattern or design that determines whether I like or don’t like lingerie.

However, there are a few exceptions to the rule, and one of them is leopard print…

OMG, I love it!

I don’t know if there is some kind of “call of the wild” hidden deep inside me or if it is simply about the look. It really doesn’t matter because I think it is absolutely amazing.

I can get a bit annoyed, though, that this beautiful pattern is so often used to portray something dirty or trashy. So many times in movies and TV shows, leopard print is put on the outcast or the saddest-looking prostitute just to make her look exactly like that…..a prostitute.

There are, of course, plenty of examples where it is used in much classier ways.

For example, Fran Drescher and the way she dresses in The Nanny, or how both Gwen Stefani and Jennifer Lopez have often embraced the amazing leopard-print pattern.

One thing I truly need to stress is that it is the pattern I love. I am not a big fan of real fur or killing animals just to wear them, so don’t think of me as the leopard version of Cruella de Vil. 😉

For me, the pattern also works as a huge turn-on. I always feel a bit naughty and “slutty” when I wear it. (I don’t really like that word, which is why it gets the great “” signs.)

The funny thing is that my Hubby also knows this.

So if he comes home and I am wearing something with leopard print, he knows he is probably going to get lucky. It is always funny to see that smile appear on his face when he enters our home. 😉

I have had a variety of different leopard-print garments over the years, and I definitely have some favorites.

I love the bras and panties. I have had a few pairs of leggings, but I never really grew into them. I will keep trying until I find the right model.

One of my absolute favorites, though, is a silky camisole with black trim…

(Now I am feeling naughty for real again. 😉 )

That kind of top over natural breasts with no bra underneath must be one of the sexiest things a woman can wear.

I know this because I become the sexiest thing when I put one on. Hihi.

Jokes aside, it is gorgeous, sophisticated and sexy all at once. I tried to come up with one word that contains all of those things, but I gave up.

To truly pay tribute to this amazing pattern, I decided to buy a new outfit that covers both my arms and legs, and I was really surprised when it arrived because it was very cheap.

The look and fit were amazing.

It made me feel like a sexy, powerful jungle girl who doesn’t take things lightly and instead goes all the way, in more ways than one. 😉

Conclusion

I will never, ever look down upon this amazing pattern: leopard print.

It gives both me and my Hubby so much joy (hihi), and it makes me feel good!

If I wake up in the morning feeling a bit gloomy and need to head to work, I love putting on my leopard-print panties.

Then I feel like Superwoman for the rest of the day because underneath my normal work clothes lingers…
